School Attendance Matters! A missed school day is a lost opportunity for students to learn. According to the National Center for Education Statistics there is a direct association with absenteeism and student achievement in reading, math, and general knowledge. Please do your very best to have your student at school on time and ready to learn!
New Program Coming this Fall to Arp Elementary
Transitional Kindergarten
Transitional Kindergarten (TK) is part of a two-year kindergarten program for students within the Arp Elementary boundary. Some children may need additional time to grow, develop and learn. TK provides the gift of time to allow this growth.
Arp Elementary Open House
We hope to see you at Open House on August 22 from 11:30 to 1:30. You will be able to meet with teachers, enjoy looking around our new school, and eat a little lunch! We are so excited to share our new building with our Arp families!
As you prepare to send your child back to school, keep in mind the ever changing weather. Always send a light jacket as the wind can make it chilly real quick!

Universal. Free. Meals.
LCSD1 has announced free meals for students in pre-kindergarten - 12th grade.
School Lunch Changes
For the start of the 2020-2021 school year there will be only one school lunch (hot lunch) option each day.
Students bringing lunch from home are encouraged to use disposable containers such as a brown paper bag.
Absences
Please remember to call the office at 771-2365 anytime your child will absent or late for school. If you have already notified the teacher of the absence, please call the office as well.
Stay Up-To-Date
It is very important to keep your child's information updated. If you have any changes to your address, phone numbers or emergency contact please let the office know.
Visitors
All visitors to Arp need to check in at the main office, present a
photo ID, and get a visitors badge. If you have and questions about
visiting Arp please contact the office. At this time, we have a closed campus.
